What information is required to send a Telegraphic Transfer?

To ensure that your application is processed efficiently, please provide the following information:

– Your name, address, ID Card/Passport
– Payment currency and amount
– Full Name of Beneficiary
– Account number of Beneficiaryor IBAN for payments to Europe and the UAE
– Beneficiary bank’s SWIFT code (BIC code)
– the Beneficiary bank’s name and address
– Details of the intermediary bank, if any

When sending my payment, what should the transfer charges be set to?

A minimal fee of Rs.1200 (Ben/Shared) is applicable.

What is the cut-off time for making an OTT?

The cut-off time is 3pm on a working day for same day processing. Applications made after the cut-off time will be processed the next working day.

How fast will TCM send the payment to the beneficiary?

Payment instructions received before the cut-off time will be processed on the same day and sent to the beneficiary bank. Please note the beneficiary bank will need to process the payment received and the time they receive your payment may vary in different countries.

When will my beneficiary receive payment?

Generally, the beneficiary should receive the funds within one to four working days. However, this may vary depending on the country or the bank to which you are sending the money to.

What to do if your Telegraphic Transfer is delayed?

Sometimes a delay may occur in the beneficiary receiving their funds. This is generally because of an issue with one of the intermediary banks in the payment “chain”, and is out of our control.

If the recipient has not received the money in their account after five business days, please us on +230 213 4141 and we will place a trace on the transfer. Note that an additional processing fee of £40 will be applicable for each trace.
